The group standard T/CASEI 034-2024 "Application Guidelines for Leakage Detection Equipment in Urban Gas Pipeline Networks", which was jointly developed by Polytide Company, was released and implemented on April 22.
This standard has been reviewed by the Standardization Working Group of Long Distance Pipeline and Public Pipeline Inspection of the Group Standards Working Committee of the China Special Equipment Inspection Association. The group standard "Application Guidelines for Urban Gas Leakage Detection Equipment" edited by the Beijing Institute of Public Utility Science has been approved for publication. This standard is a supporting standard of the Technical Regulations for Leakage Detection of Urban Gas Pipeline Networks and the Technical Regulations for Leakage Assessment of Urban Gas Pipeline Networks. It helps to supplement and improve the standard system for urban gas leakage detection, assist gas enterprises in scientific, reasonable, and efficient equipment configuration and detection work, and ensure the safety of gas operation.
During the standard preparation period, Chairman Sun Liguo of the company participated in the entire process on behalf of the company, actively providing suggestions and detailed modification suggestions for the classification of gas pipeline leakage detection equipment involved in the standard.
